The largest supplier of crafting and art tools, equipment and goodies in the surrounding area. Regular client base both English and Spanish.
Currently stocking everything needed for cardmaking and scrapbooking as well as an extensive range of artist supplies. They also stock a range of other crafting & hobby items and equipment for; parchment craft, jewellery making, X-stitch, fabric, small haberdashery range, craft kits, items to decorate, glass painting, paint-by-numbers, children’s kits and more. They also have a selection of gifts, including jewellery, and handmade cards for sale. The shop stocks products by, and are in some cases the sole agents for, the following companies; DO Crafts (Papermania, Anita’s, Whispers, X-Cut etc.), Redhotbed, Flowersoft, Glitter Girls, Crafter’s Companion, Diamond Card Craft, Woodware, Kars, Craft Creations, Trimcraft (Dove Craft etc.), Pergamano, Parchment Craft Australia, Design House Press, Personal Impressions, Impex, Daler Rowney, Decopatch, Dufex, Heritage Stitch Craft and more!!
There is a workshop area and since opening the owners have run weekly cardmaking classes with regular class members and now also run a Parchment Craft Class once a month, again with regular members. Up to 5 classes per week are organised and children’s Saturday classes Also taking place are regular all day workshops which are incredibly popular and generate a very good turnover from both workshop income and sales within the shop. Please note all classes & workshops are personal income which is not included in the turnover.
There is still more potential to be realised especially in the workshop areas. Any number of classes could be held including scrapbooking, art – painting, sketching, jewellery making, sewing, knitting, quilting, mosaics, children’s craft classes & holiday workshops… the list is endless. The new owners can also rent out the space for other classes including language lessons. Its possible to diversify the range in the shop by stocking model making kits & equipment, wools, cake decorating etc.
